I am so in love with my shears. I got the Damascus shears, which are just insane!
Donnie Vasey began his career in the theatre world, styling hair for such
high profile productions as Man of La Mancha, Little Shop of Horrors,
Jesus Christ Superstar, and of course, Hair. The glamorous styles of the
theatre world inspired his love and passion for hairdressing and in 2001,
Donnie and his wife and fellow stylist, Pamela, launched their own
salon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The salon quickly became one of the
hottest and most successful in the area and made Donnie one of the
most sought after stylists in Pittsburgh. His impressive roster of clients
includes local television, theatre and music personalities.
Donnie Vasey is pleased to return to the stage in his new role as
an Alterna Creative Team member. He combines his remarkable
motivational speaking skills with innovative cutting techniques to
deliver both an educational and entertaining show that is not to be
missed. Donnie’s mission is to bring Alterna’s unique cutting and styling
techniques to stylists around the world.
